  • Ticket edit permission and the applicable form.

Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. 01

Open the ticket’s form or fields panel. Read the active form and current values before editing so you do not overwrite a teammate’s information.

  2. 02

Fill the fields relevant to this request. Check conditional requirements when changing a choice that reveals another required question.

  3. 03

Save and inspect the result. If RelayDesk reports a conflict, reload the current values and reconcile your changes with the newer information.

  4. 04

Before solving or closing, complete any required values. Keep credentials, payment-card data, and unnecessary sensitive information out of ordinary ticket fields.

A closer look at the interface

These are actual product captures from a fictional demo workspace. Navigation and available controls can differ by role, configuration, or release.

  3. 3Archive definitions when they should leave active use.

Expected result

Saved values that match the current form and validation rules.

Important details

An integration replacing field values must preserve the complete current values object and use the required ticket, field, and form versions.
