Understand report dates and delivery timezones
Separate the time an email is scheduled from the dates used to calculate its report.
- Access to the report definition and its schedule.
Step-by-step walkthrough
- 01
Check the workspace reporting timezone before interpreting daily charts or exported dates. Use an IANA timezone that reflects the intended reporting calendar.
- 02
For a scheduled report, read its delivery timezone separately. The schedule’s time does not redefine the workspace’s reporting dates.
- 03
Choose Yesterday when you need a completed daily period. A report including Today can contain partial figures.
- 04
After downtime or a daylight-saving transition, inspect the next occurrence and delivery history rather than assuming every missed occurrence is replayed.
Expected result
A consistent interpretation of periods, dates, and scheduled delivery.
Important details
Relative dates resolve for the scheduled occurrence, while metrics are generated at send time. A saved definition is not an immutable historical snapshot.
