Step-by-step walkthrough

  1. 01

Open Settings → Automation & AI and choose Templates. Read the event and action on each template before selecting one.

  2. 02

Choose a template such as Unassigned intake alert, First response warning, or On-hold review reminder. The existing rule editor opens with editable values.

  3. 03

Review conditions, actions, recipients, delays, ordering, and stop-processing behavior. Confirm that any referenced team or teammate is eligible for the intended action.

  4. 04

Save draft, then use the available test and review controls. Saving a draft does not activate the rule.

  5. 05

Publish separately when the rule is ready. Create a controlled test event and inspect Activity to confirm what happened.

Important details

The supplied reminder templates notify staff; they do not send customer messages. Scheduled delays use elapsed minutes and depend on the worker.

The follow-up reminder template does not by itself determine whether a staff member has already replied. Review the conditions for your workflow.
